西貢植樹20週年紀念暨減碳宣傳運動啟動禮

由國際奧伊斯嘉會香港主辦之西貢植樹20週年紀念暨減碳宣傳運動啟動禮已於2021年12月14日元朗大會堂順利舉行。

是次活動有幸邀請到

日本國駐香港總領事館兼總領事岡田健一 大使、

漁農及自然護理署助理署長(郊野公園及海岸公園) 葉彥博士、

元朗民政事務專員胡天祐太平紳士

漁農及自然護理署前助理署長王福義博士等貴賓出席。

在典禮上介紹了西貢植樹活動的發展和經過，並頒發了紀念品予一直大力支持本會活動的各贊助人士及機構，再次感謝各單位多年來對本會植樹活動的支持和鼓勵。甚者，本次的植樹活動亦藉著是次典禮，得到了日本國駐香港總領事館、漁農及自然護理署及樹賢基金的認可和支持，得以落實將來再次進行大規模的植樹活動。

是次活動除了是西貢植樹20週年紀念，亦是減碳宣傳運動啟動禮。本會希望在未來的植樹活動中，結合在港日本人和香港居民的努力，使香港邁向碳中和。在典禮中，在本會會長陳遠華 BBS太平紳士的帶領下，各嘉賓進行了剪綵儀式及宣誓儀式，祝願香港未來如同宣誓口號一樣「Carbon Reduction Go Go Go」！

The 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Japan Exchange Memorial Forest and the Kickoff for carbon reduction promotional campaign ceremony organized by the OISCA International Hong Kong was successfully held in the Yuen Long Town Hall on December 14, 2021.

Our group was honoured to invite:

Mr OKADA Kenichi, Consul, Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong

Dr YIP Yin, Jackie, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (Country and Marine Parks Branch)

Mr Gordon WU, JP, District Officer (Yuen Long)

Dr Wong Fook-yee, Former Assistant Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation (Country and Marine Parks Branch)

and other distinguished guests attended.

At the ceremony, OISCA Hong Kong introduced the history and development progress of the Hong Kong Japan Exchange Memorial Forest. Souvenirs were awarded to various sponsors and organizations presenting appreciation for supporting in these 20 years. Furthermore, receiving the support from consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and Surein Foundation in the ceremony, OISCA Hong Kong established the plan of forest planting activity in the future.

The ceremony is not only celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Japan Exchange Memorial Forest but also kicking off for carbon reduction promotional campaign. We would like to strive for the goal of carbon neutrality with the forest planting activity cooperating with Japanese in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong citizen.

Finally, led by Mr Alexander Chan, President of OISCA Hong Kong, the ceremony has concluded with a ribbon-cutting. We wish the Hong Kong citizen may participate in our activities like our slogan “Zero Carbon Emission Go Go Go!”
